| Description: There was actually a print version of the Hutchinson Encyclopedia that was published betweek 1948 and 2005 (at this point, it became a website, which is still around at http://encyclopedia.farlex.com). Hutchinson merged with Century Publishing in 1985, and then with Random House in 1989. The packaging actually carries a Random Century copyright, and also acknowledges the BBC and Hulton Picture Company, who presumable contributed images and video to this compilation. This one actually says "PAL VERSION" on the front of the case. If there is an NTSC version, we haven't seen it yet. This disc also came with a voucher good for 80% off the next edition of Hutchinson Encyclopedia, which it claims will contain over 5000 new entries. We haven't seen any 2nd edition |
