Description: This is a white disk drive that connects to the expansion port, and sits on top of the right side of the CD32. It also has a second connector that points into the expansion bay, which is used for a real-time clock that came with the unit (might also work for the FMV card and other internal expansions, but it's not clear if it carries all the necessary signals), a printer port, and an RGB video port (though as a 15-pin connector). This was designed for the Wall Street Institute language school, where training was done with CD32's (There are 12 discs worth of software that were used for this training, though these are not currently included in this database). Seems to interfere with the CD32 controller somehow, making any game that requires more than one button unplayable. Also, Morph crashes with this attached, so there may be other bizarre issues. | |
